Piano and music theory lessons for kids, teenagers and adults

Hi there, I offer individual piano lessons for children and adults, tailored to the needs of beginners and advanced students. My focus is on classical music, but jazz, pop and other styles are also possible. The lessons take place in the MusikQuartier. Home visits are also possible upon request. It is particularly important to me that the lessons not only teach musical skills, but also awaken the joy of making music and take place in a relaxed atmosphere. Every lesson should be a motivating and positive experience.

Advanced level pianist and student singer at the Musik und Kunst Privatuniversität der Stadt Wien, I offer private piano lessons (classical training only, musical training included). Having a dual training, it seems interesting to me to follow the musical instinct and sensitivity acquired in singing, on the piano. I therefore take advantage of my skills in these two specialties which complement each other wonderfully, in order to enrich and develop musicality and the quality of the ear. There are no students. Only musicians! Finally, and the technical part being of course essential, I therefore apply the basics of pianistic technique, using the method from Russian pedagogy, teaching with a prestigious and international reputation.

Beatboxing is a relatively unknown discipline, even though it allows for an absolutely incredible musical variety: percussion, whistles, bass, special sounds straight out of an alien movie... our body is an instrument in itself, and learning beatbox is accessible to everyone! (Take a look at some beatboxer videos online, you'll be amazed!) I'll take you step by step, starting with easy and useful sounds, gradually moving towards impressive, fun sounds, or those of your choice. In addition, I practice with you and complete your knowledge of music theory and particularly rhythm when necessary. The most important matter that I could write here about is my passion to teach. I've been teaching already for more than 10 years, from kids to adults. Finally, Alex creates a video tutorial about the piece or song that needs to be learned for the next lesson. This gives extra support when practising at home, in order to avoid any doubt and keep motivation up.
