Graduated from the Lyon Conservatory in cello, musical training and with a double Master's degree in cello and double bass from the Royal Conservatory of Brussels I give lessons for all levels, all ages. You like Bach suites for solo cello, the music of Telemann, Chopin, tangos, etc. It is possible to learn music at any age and I would be happy to support you on your journey. You do not have an instrument, I will lend you one during the first lesson and can guide you in your search for an instrument afterwards. I additionally offer free optional audio or video feedback between lessons which can serve as useful reminders of ideas, techniques, exercises etc. or just to check in. Instrumental lessons are relaxed and can include theory, composition and improvisation from the beginning to help develop well-rounded musical skills. Improvisation lessons are suitable for all instruments/vocals and can cover specific musical contexts such as jazz, free improvisation, interpretation of new music (contemporary music) etc. In my teaching career I have also had the opportunity to develop specialist music projects with children and young adults, using interesting, fun and creative starting points. At the same time my current students range from age 16-50+ and my practise as a professional improviser allows me to be flexible and keep things interesting across all ages, ability levels and genres. À travers le jazz, la musique brésilienne, la musique classique (archet), au choix suivant vos affinités nous aborderons : La technique de l'instrument : des exercices de gammes, les arpèges et déliateurs. Analyse harmonique : comprendre les accords et leurs fonctions. Le rythme : chant rythmique, solfège, placement rythmique, accentuations et débits. Lignes de basse : accompagnements, jouer les thèmes, construire des solos pas à pas. Repiquer une musique : les étapes pour repiquer à l'oreille les accords, les basses, la mélodie. Chant : chanter ce que l'on entend, le but n'est pas de travailler la technique vocale mais son oreille, nous jouons ce que nous pouvons chanter ! Archet : technique française, études classiques. Étant pianiste et batteur, nous jouerons en duo pour favoriser l'interplay. Deux fois par mois, j'anime des Ateliers Jazz dans un studio du 10ème avec d'autres musiciens, un moment dédié au jeu en groupe, à l'improvisation, l apprentissage des conventions, dépasser le stress du jeu en groupe. J'attache beaucoup d'importance à la respiration, la décontraction et la posture, un travail approfondi permet une plus grande agilité et prévient les douleurs liées à la pratique. Bonjour ! Etudiante en Bachelor à la Haute Ecole de Musique de Neuchâtel, je propose des cours de contrebasse et/ou de solfège, pour les débutants ou plus avancés, jeunes ou moins jeunes. Vous êtes les bienvenus, que vous souhaitiez prendre des cours sur le long terme ou ou sur une courte période (possibilité de travailler la posture pour éviter les tensions et les maux de dos, cours de soutien ou avant un examen, ou pour retrouver de la motivation...). Je peux également accompagner des élèves débutants en jazz. Je vous aiderai à acquérir une technique et une théorie solides afin de vous sentir de plus en plus libre et que la pratique soit de plus en plus facile. C'est un passage indispensable selon moi, et qui est agréable : cela permet de travailler en écoutant son corps, d'avoir confiance en soi et d'être heureux de se voir progresser. Le tout se fera dans la bienveillance et la bonne humeur. Si vous souhaitez prendre uniquement des cours de solfège, je ferai en sorte que vous puissiez vous en servir dans la pratique, que cela ne reste pas de la théorie. Le premier cours sera consacré, entre autres, à définir vos besoins, envies et objectifs. Vous découvrirez quelques pièces du répertoire que vous souhaitez aborder, comment baisser son stress si besoin pendant les examens ou concerts, tout cela dans le but de s'amuser, bien sûr. I offer private lessons of classical double bass and jazz as well as electric bass and guitar lessons on all styles of music for children and adults of all ages and all levels. My priority is that everyone takes pleasure in playing while progressing. My teaching is based on personalized musical follow-up: Discovery, Leisure, Methodical learning and Improvement. The repertoire will be chosen according to the desires of each student. I am convinced that the theoretical fundamentals, remain essential to be accomplished as a musician. However, it remains obvious to me that the practice of the instrument goes hand in hand with a more theoretical teaching. It is for this reason that my students touch the instrument from the first lesson. My teaching allows to acquire the musical fundamentals while having fun, without demotivation.

I graduated in Master Performance and Master Pedagogy at the Haute Ecole de Musique de Genève and I have been playing the double bass since 2012. Currently I am a double bass teacher at AIDA in Gland and a substitute at the Conservatoire Populaire de Musique de Genève. Hi, I'm a french bassist based in London. I'm looking to give courses to people who want to learn bass basics or more advanced stuff, as much as technical skills (like slap) to harmony and theory. Also can give Upright Bass courses. I can learn several music styles, from jazz standards to pop/rock through hip hop and funk for all levels. I can also play bass synth and a little keyboard and guitar. I learned music at the Conservatory of Paris in France, starting cello at 5 in classical music, then started bass and upright bass at the jazz department.
